We are excited that the season is just around the corner! A big thank you to all the parents who attended our information night.
Here are some important updates and upcoming dates:
Coaches & Referees Needed
IMLA is still actively seeking coaches, assistant coaches, and trainers for all age groups. If you’re interested in coaching, please reach out to our Coach/Player development representative, Nate at
Additionally, IMLA has adopted a policy to reimburse course fees for coaches and referees after five games (for refs, five Innisfail games).New Phantom Swag!
Thanks to the Mackie family for managing the concession and allowing IMLA to keep 100% of the profits during the 2024 season! Because of their generosity and the families that volunteered their time, every Phantom player will receive:
New shorts
Bench staff will also receive matching shirts. A sizing chart will be sent out soon. The same profit structure will be in place for the 2025 season.
Try It Night!
We are hosting another Try It Night on Thursday, February 27 at St. Marguerite School:
6:00 - 7:00 PM - Players born 2015-2021
7:00 - 8:00 PM - Players born 2009-2014

Also, board members will be available the first week of practices to collect bond cheques / balances of fees and to answer any questions you may have for the upcoming season!

.com Volunteer Hours Update from Parent Information Meeting
With an estimated 928 concession hours needed this season—plus additional tournament operation shifts—we are already operating at a volunteer deficit of almost 300 hours by implementing the reduced hour requirement for families with multiple registrants. Our concession and tournament income help keep registration fees low, so while we greatly appreciate all volunteers, we have decided to keep the new policy the same for this season.
Player Movement:
Just a friendly reminder that any overage or underage requests must be received by March 14th so that they can be presented at the CALL meeting for approval. Please reach out to our registrar, Amber at registrar@
