Lacrosse is Back !!!

Hello Phantom Families, we are happy to announce that

lacrosse skills and drills will start Tuesday March 9 and run

until Tuesday June 8. We have been working very hard
with the town to ensure access in the arena and they are as

excited as we are to get lacrosse going in our community.

With the current regulations we have planned for skills
and drills with divisions U 10 -U16 twice per week and U6 ,U 8 once per week.

We will be closely following Alberta’s path forward guidance and

are hopeful we can offer inter squad scrimmages if we move into step 2.
Registration for Skills and drills will open Monday February 22,

please register on line with your family IMLA account at

https://www.rampregistrations.com/login?v3=4c185d89b1
If you are new to IMLA you must create a family account and then register your player.

At this point we cannot guarantee a league game season, however if the guidelines are
lifted to allow for one, those that are registered in skills and drills can register for league
games.

Registration and Fees

Registration for Skills and Drills March 9-June 8 will open Feb 22.

U6 $90.00,

U8 $110.00,

U10 $180.00,

U12 $230,

U14 AND U16 $280.

Fees include a Non Refundable $60.00 for insurance and ongoing IMLA expenses,

a reversible player owned piny, team and group pictures, floor costs.

Registration for League games U10-U16 $100.00 ( there will be no league game fees for

U6/U8) TBA dependent on the Alberta Path forward guidelines.

The volunteer requirement policy and post dated cheque will be suspended until if/when

we have a league season. That being said, we still require volunteers particularly coaches,

managers and first aid staff. If you are interested in serving in these positions please let

our coach/player director Jon Weddell know.

We will send out AHS and arena guidelines after our board meeting March 2.

If you would like to support the return of minor lacrosse we encourage you to do the

following.

1) Register. Registering as soon as registration opens allow us to have the best

information to plan for our season.

2) Volunteer. We need coaches and managers at least 2 coaches per group is required by

CLA guidelines

3) Spread the word. If your players love lacrosse tell other families and get them to

participate too. Losing our season last year was very disheartening but if we can come

back with as many players and maybe even more, lacrosse will be better for everyone.

For any questions or concerns please contact one of our board members, contacts

available on our IMLA website.

Sincerely,

Dara Gooder IMLA President
